Job summary

Seoulstart seeks a seasoned principal engineer to drive AI-enabled engineering transformation and architect large distributed systems serving millions of users. You will lead cross-team architectural initiatives, influence senior engineers and leaders, and build shared platform capabilities used across multiple products and lines within the organization.

What you'd do:

• Embed AI and autonomous agents throughout SDLC: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, operations, incidents.
• Establish platforms, knowledge systems, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails enabling safe, scalable higher-autonomy engineering.
• Architect high-throughput, highly available systems powering critical consumer and integrity experiences at massive scale.
• Help teams solve scalability, reliability, resilience, performance, security, and cost challenges through architectural patterns.
• Identify capabilities requiring domain-specific versus common platforms across mobility, food delivery, e-commerce, financial services.
• Develop common platform primitives enabling multiple products and business lines across Grab ecosystem.
• Establish reference architectures, principles, patterns, and guardrails enabling teams to make decisions independently.
• Partner with senior engineers, leaders, product teams, and data scientists as technical architect and force multiplier.
• Evaluate trade-offs and help teams converge on architectures solving problems beyond single use cases.
