Job summary

Ministry of Manpower in Singapore seeks a Principal Manager / Senior Manager / Manager in the Compliance Group to plan, develop and implement compliance controls safeguarding the integrity of the work pass framework. You will design strategies to detect and deter fraud and ensure effective regulation of the work pass systems.

Key duties include developing compliance strategies, collaborating with MOM policy and operations teams and other agencies, and implementing agile measures to close gaps

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience is preferred, though applicants with no prior experience are welcome.
• Experience or knowledge in compliance work would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to complex changes.
• Proficiency in data analysis and digital tools (Power BI, Excel, automation tools or AI-enabled solutions) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop compliance strategies, measures and workflows to identify fraudulent manpower practices and risks in the work pass framework.
• Collaborate with policy and operations teams in MOM and other government agencies to understand hiring practices and analyse interventions.
• Propose and implement agile measures to address gaps and strengthen policies and processes.
