Preventive Maintenance Technician - (Lithography)

Job summary

STMicroelectronics is actively seeking a maintenance technician to renew our talent acquisition and onboarding collaboration, while supporting maintenance activities across production lines. The role requires hands-on experience, a mechanical/electrical background, and strong collaboration with engineers and vendors.

You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, and safety-compliant operations, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, automation or industrial environments.
• Certificate in Mechanical, electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or related field preferred.
• Basic mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and support quick recovery to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections, servicing, cleaning and calibration of machines and equipment.
• Replace defective components, parts and consumables as part of maintenance activities.
• Support equipment setup, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Assist in monitoring machine performance and reporting abnormal conditions or recurring issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, checklists, and service reports.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with workplace safety procedures during maintenance work.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and production teams during maintenance and repair activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

YOUR ROLE

You take part in creating the best new hire experience in the project to completely renew our talent acquisition and onboarding process. You also help us with finding the best vendors for recruitment and managing the a to z collaboration with them.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• At least 3 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, automation or industrial environments
• Certificate in Mechanical, electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or related filed preferred
• Basic mechanical and electronical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with automated material handling equipment is a plus
• Ability to work rotating 12-hours shifts
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to details
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced reporting
• Willingness to support shift work, standby duties, overtime and on-site operational requirements when needed
