Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on wafer manufacturing equipment, follow PM checklists, and support daily operations in a fast-paced cleanroom.

You will troubleshoot minor issues, ensure 5S practices, and cooperate with a cross-functional team. A degree in engineering and 1–2 years of experience are preferred, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• 1–2 years in maintenance or wafer fabrication.
• Familiar with implant tools.
• Good verbal and written communication.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.


• Background in Electronics, Computer, Technical, Mechanical, or related disciplines.


• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in maintenance, equipment support, or wafer fabrication environment.


• Familiar with Implant tools


• Good verbal and written communication skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.


• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.


• Leadership potential and willingness to take ownership of tasks.


• Coaching mindset and openness to learning and improvement.


• Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.


• Able to work in a fast-paced cleanroom manufacturing environment.


• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
