NOVEL SUNKRIS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Designer to transform complex banking concepts into clear, compelling presentation layouts.

You will work with bankers and the design team to craft narratives through visuals, infographics, and polished layouts. The ideal candidate has strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills, excels in PowerPoint, and can read and type Chinese to support Mandarin-speaking clients.

Qualifications

Job description

As the Designer, you will be required to apply your excellent presentation, strong branding, illustration and data visualization skills, to interpret complex ideas and translate them into simplistic and compelling design layouts for a MNC bank.

The role will involve working closely with bankers (clients) at different levels across Banking business groups to create strong narratives through presentations.

Key Design and Production responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality presentations in a range of formats including conceptual designs, layout designs, video and photo editing, data visualization, graphs, charts, infographics, illustrations,icons, etc.
• Enhance slides and presentations into visually engaging format
• Working as part of the graphics and presentations team in a busy 24/7 department that produces pitch book materials and other marketing collateral.
• Work alongside Project Coordinators and/or Creative Director on design projects
• Assist with the production of pitch book materials using MS Office packages and offer conceptual and visual solutions to enhance client materials.
• Communicate with senior-level clients to understand their concepts and interpret them visually. Presentations are frequently created for multiple purposes, so the designer should be able to shift gears and adapt to different requirements.
• Ensure work adheres to all best practices and style guidelines, unless otherwise specified and work toward 100% accuracy against style and brief.
• Organize work effectively to ensure deadlines are met
• Proactively raise creative ideas and emerging trends in line with the business objectives
• Ensure that a smooth handover occurs with Presentations colleagues, as well as design teams
• Escalate any staff or client issues in a timely manner
• Proactively engage with clients to take detailed specifications and work briefs and then ensure such instructions are recorded for global designers to use
• Record and summarize client instructions for designers and brief them on client requirements, if needed

Knowledge/Experience:

Essential

• At least 4 years in the field of creative services in a corporate, client service environment; ideally in a financial institution
• Advanced knowledge of industry standard graphic design applications
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree

Desirable

• Experience of proofreading presentations
• Investment Banking / Asset Management / financial industry or similar experience
• Knowledge of external print processes

Skills and Competencies:

• Advanced knowledge (work experience of at least 4 years) of Adobe Creative Cloud design apps (i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional)
• Advanced knowledge (work experience of at least 4 years) of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
• Understanding of foundational GenAI usage/application in Firefly and Adobe CC apps
• Proficiency in reading and typing Chinese (Must) to serve customers who speak Mandarin - proficient in Simplified Chinese (a plus)
• Proficiency in English communication (written and verbal) skills (Must)
• Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances require
