Job summary

Peoplebank Asia in Singapore is seeking a Designer to apply branding, illustration and data-visualization skills to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling layouts for client materials and internal pitches.

You will produce high-quality presentations across formats, collaborate with the graphics and presentations team, and help shape design standards while meeting tight deadlines. A minimum of four years in corporate design and strong proficiency with Adobe CC and MS Office are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in creative services in a corporate environment.
• Advanced knowledge of industry-standard graphic design applications.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Familiarity with GenAI usage in Firefly and Adobe CC apps.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality presentations in a range of formats including conceptual designs, layout designs, video and photo editing, data visualization, graphs, charts, infographics, illustrations, icons, etc.
• Enhance slides and presentations into visually engaging format.
• Work as part of the graphics and presentations team in a busy 24/7 department that produces pitch book materials and other marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with Project Coordinators and/or Creative Director on design projects.
• Assist with the production of pitch book materials using MS Office and offer visual solutions to client materials.
• Communicate with senior-level clients to understand concepts and translate them visually; adapt for multiple purposes.
• Adhere to best practices and style guidelines, ensuring accuracy against briefs.
• Organize work to meet deadlines.
• Proactively raise creative ideas and trends aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure smooth handover with Presentations colleagues and design teams.
• Escalate staff or client issues timely.
• Engage with clients to take detailed briefs and record instructions for global designers.
• Record and summarize client instructions and brief designers as needed.

Job Overview: As the Designer you will be required to apply your excellent presentation, strong branding, illustration and data visualization skills, to interpret complex ideas and translate them into simplistic and compelling design layouts.

Key Design and Production responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality presentations in a range of formats including conceptual designs, layout designs, video and photo editing, data visualization, graphs, charts, infographics, illustrations, icons, etc.
• Enhance slides and presentations into visually engaging format
• Working as part of the graphics and presentations team in a busy 24/7 department that produces pitch book materials and other marketing collateral.
• Work alongside Project Coordinators and/or Creative Director on design projects
• Assist with the production of pitch book materials using MS Office packages and offer conceptual and visual solutions to enhance client materials.
• Communicate with senior-level clients to understand their concepts and interpret them visually. Presentations are frequently created for multiple purposes, so the designer should be able to shift gears and adapt to different requirements.
• Ensure work adheres to all best practices and style guidelines, unless otherwise specified and work toward 100% accuracy against style and brief.
• Organize work effectively to ensure deadlines are met
• Proactively raise creative ideas and emerging trends in line with the business objectives
• Ensure that a smooth handover occurs with Presentations colleagues, as well as design teams
• Escalate any staff or client issues in a timely manner
• Proactively engage with clients to take detailed specifications and work briefs and then ensure such instructions are recorded for global designers to use
• Record and summarize client instructions for designers and brief them on client requirements, if needed

Job Requirements:

• At least 4 years in the field of creative services in a corporate, client service environment; ideally in a financial institution
• Advanced knowledge of industry standard graphic design applications
• Advanced knowledge (work experience of at least 4 years) of Adobe Creative Cloud design apps (i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional)
• Advanced knowledge (work experience of at least 4 years) of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
• Understanding of foundational GenAI usage/application in Firefly and Adobe CC apps
