MindChamps Performing Arts Preschool @ Loyang in Singapore is seeking a qualified Preschool Principal to lead daily operations, uphold educational quality and support professional development of the teaching team.

You will ensure ECDA compliance, oversee staffing, enrolment, and partnerships with parents while driving safety and wellbeing of children. This role requires strong leadership and a collaborative approach within a busy preschool setting.

Qualifications

• ECDA-recognised early childhood education qualification and leadership qualification.
• Prior leadership or centre management experience in a Singapore preschool.
• Strong knowledge of ECDA regulations and preschool operations.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Commitment to children's development and educational quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily centre operations, staff deployment and administrative processes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to educators to ensure effective curriculum implementation and quality teaching practices.
• Ensure compliance with ECDA regulations, licensing requirements and organisational policies.
• Maintain high standards of child safety, well-being, hygiene and care.
• Manage CMS-related submissions, centre records and regulatory documentation.

Requirements

• Possess ECDA-recognised early childhood education and leadership qualifications and meet the requirements for appointment as a Preschool Principal.
• Previous leadership or centre management experience in a Singapore preschool is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of ECDA regulations, preschool operations and administrative requirements.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A responsible and professional approach, with a strong commitment to children's development, educational quality and teamwork.
