Job summary

China Mobile International Limited is seeking a Presales Solution Manager to drive cloud and AI business development across APAC. You will lead technical engagement, design hybrid/multi-cloud architectures, and advise on GPU sizing and AI pricing for enterprise and telecom clients.

The role requires strong English and Mandarin communication, stakeholder management, and willingness to travel within APAC. Collaboration with cloud partners and internal teams is essential for successful co-selling

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud presales, solution architecture, or technical business development in telecom/cloud/AI vendor environments.
• Strong knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and pricing models.
• Excellent bilingual communication in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel within APAC as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales technical engagement for cloud and AI opportunities, including solution design, POC, RFP/RFI responses, and customer presentations.
• Design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures tailored to customer requirements.
• Provide technical consultation on AI infrastructure, including GPU sizing and token/consumption-based pricing for proposals.
• Build relationships with cloud vendor partners and ecosystem partners to support go-to-market and enablement.
• Support proposal development including pricing, TCO analysis, and competitive positioning.
• Coordinate with delivery and managed services teams to ensure deliverability and operational soundness.
• Stay current on cloud pricing and AI infrastructure trends to advise customers and internal stakeholders.

We are looking for a Presales Solution Manager to support our Cloud and AI business development across the APAC region. This role sits at the intersection of technical solution design, customer engagement, and partner ecosystem management, working closely with sales and international carrier/cloud partners to design and deliver competitive cloud and AI solutions for enterprise and telco customers across APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead presales technical engagement for cloud and AI opportunities, including solution design, proof-of-concepts, RFP/RFI responses, and customer presentations
• Design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures leveraging cloud providers, tailored to customer requirements
• Provide technical consultation on AI infrastructure and application solutions, including GPU compute sizing, model selection, and AI token/consumption-based cost modeling for customer proposals
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with cloud vendor partners (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and ecosystem partners to support joint go-to-market, co-selling, and technical enablement
• Support commercial proposal development, including solution pricing, TCO analysis, and competitive positioning
• Work with internal delivery and managed services teams to ensure proposed solutions are deliverable and operationally sound
• Stay current on cloud pricing models, AI token/API consumption pricing structures, and emerging AI infrastructure trends to advise customers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud presales, solution architecture, or technical business development, ideally within telecom, systems integration, or cloud/AI vendor environments
• Strong working knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including core services and commercial/pricing models
• Established closed relationships with cloud vendor partner teams is a strong advantage
• Solid understanding of AI infrastructure fundamentals, including GPU compute, LLM deployment considerations, and AI token-based pricing/consumption models
• Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken), given the need to engage both regional customers and HQ stakeholders
• Strong presentation, proposal writing, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to travel within APAC as required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field; relevant cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred
