Job summary

ALTROCKS TECH PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a senior cloud architect with extensive experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, and solution design.

The role includes presales or customer-facing responsibilities and delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and government clients in Singapore. You will engage with customers to understand business objectives, conduct discovery workshops, and present architecture solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud architecture or related field
• 3+ years in presales or customer-facing architecture roles
• Experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise/government in Singapore
• Lead technical discovery workshops and architecture presentations
• Collaborate with sales to support pursuits, proposals, and RFPs

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand objectives, challenges, and compliance
• Lead discovery workshops, solution walkthroughs, and architecture presentations
• Provide technical leadership through presales lifecycle from qualification to proposal submission
• Design end-to-end cloud architectures across Azure, AWS, and Huawei Cloud
• Ensure architectures align with GCC requirements and security/regulatory standards

Job description

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or solution design.
• 3+ years of experience in presales or customer-facing architecture roles.
• Proven experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and/or government sector clients in Singapore.
• Engage customers to understand their business objectives, technical challenges, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct technical discovery workshops, solution walkthroughs, and architecture presentations.
• Collaborate closely with account and sales teams to support sales pursuits, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the presales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through proposal submission.
• Design end-to-end cloud architectures across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Huawei Cloud (good to have).
• Cloud migration initiatives, Hybrid cloud deployments, Multi-cloud environments Application modernization programs
• Design and document cloud landing zones, networking, identity management, and security architectures. Ensure all solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned with industry and cloud provider best practices.
• Design cloud solutions aligned with Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) requirements.
• Ensure architectures comply with relevant security, governance, and regulatory standards, including: IM8 guidelines
• MTCS requirements Data protection and security zoning principles
• Support security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and compliance discussions with customers and stakeholders.
