Job summary

PCSS is seeking an experienced infrastructure architect to engage with customers, understand requirements, and design enterprise infrastructure architectures across storage, compute, virtualization, backup, and observability. The role includes delivering technical proposals, conducting demos, and collaborating with Sales to pursue opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in large-scale infrastructure, with private cloud expertise in a Sales/Presales environment, plus strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure with at least 2 years focused on Private Cloud in the Sales/Presales environment.
• Experience in Software-Defined Data Centers (SDDC) and Private Cloud orchestration.
• Proven track record in managing multi-million dollar projects in the government and/or commercial sectors.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand network infrastructure requirements.
• Design and propose Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture (e.g., storage, compute, virtualization/containerization, backup, observability, network).
• Conduct product demos and presentations.
• Develop and deliver technical proposals and quotes.
• Collaborate with sales teams to pursue opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products.
• Provide technical support and product positioning.
• Partnership Management with Key Vendors.
• Work with pre-sales from different expertise to create a comprehensive solution.
• Any other duties/projects assigned.

Technical Skill Sets:

• Familiarity with IM8 Framework is a plus
• Possession of one or more of networking professional certifications such as CCNP, CCDE or equivalent

• Compute & virtualization/containerization solutions (HPE, Dell, Cisco, VMWare, Nutanix, Microsoft, etc)
• Backup & Recovery solutions (Rubrik, Veritas, Cohesity, Veeam, etc)
• Observability solutions (Solarwinds, Splunk, etc)
