Job summary

RTX in Singapore is hiring for a CNC Machinist who will setup, operate and maintain CNC milling and lathe machines, read blueprints and ensure precise inspection with appropriate gauges. The role requires basic English and the ability to work rotating shifts, onsite at our Singapore facility.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience in a Precision Engineering environment.
• Basic command of written and spoken English.
• Able to work weekly rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain CNC machines such as Milling, Lathe, and Surface Grinding.
• Set up measuring equipment and fixtures for inspection checks.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and read blueprints.
• Maintain records and keep workspace tidy in line with drawings and instructions.
• Report machine or tooling problems to Supervisor promptly.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by Supervisor.
