Job summary

RTX in Singapore seeks a skilled technician to set up and operate conventional or CNC machines within the manufacturing cell, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will read blueprints, maintain records, perform inspections, and troubleshoot equipment, contributing to precise production and process reliability.

The ideal candidate has an NITEC in Precision Engineering with at least two years of hands-on experience, and can work rotating shifts in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• NITEC / Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a Precision Engineering environment.
• Basic command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain all types of conventional or CNC machines in the cell.
• Set up, operate and maintain measuring equipment and fixtures for inspection checks.
• Perform simple troubleshooting of machines and read blueprints.
• Maintain shop records and work according to technical drawings.
• Keep work areas tidy and notify Supervisor of machine or tooling issues.
• Engage in other duties as requested by Supervisor.
