Job summary

YAMI SUPPLY CHAIN PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventive service on molds, dies and fixtures, diagnose defects and execute precision repairs.

You will operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, CNC and EDM equipment and interpret complex drawings and GD&T standards. Documentation in CMMS and inventory support are required. The role emphasizes reliability, quality workmanship, and proactive problem solving to minimize downtime and keep production

Qualifications

• Preventive maintenance of molds, dies and fixtures to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshooting defects such as dimensional inaccuracies, surface issues or tool wear.
• Precision repairs using welding, grinding, polishing and fitting techniques.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, CNC machines and EDM equipment.
• Read and apply engineering drawings, CAD models and GD&T standards.
• Assemble/disassemble tooling with proper fit, alignment and function.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges and comparators to verify dimensions.
• Record maintenance and modifications in CMMS for traceability.
• Maintain spare parts, inserts and hardware to support production.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing of molds, dies and fixtures to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose defects and implement corrective actions to restore tooling condition.
• Fabricate or modify components using machining operations and toolmaking techniques.
• Inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy against drawings.
• Document all maintenance activities in CMMS for traceability and audit readiness.
