JIN LI INDUSTRIAL INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior trader with a focus on Precious Metals to manage and optimize trading strategies and books within strict risk limits. The role requires an autonomous approach, strong numerical skills, and a proven track record in delivering profitable trading performance.

The candidate will liaise with the head office to identify opportunities, monitor market conditions, and report daily P&L and risk metrics to the trading desk and senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Precious Metals trading.
• Full understanding of fundamental drivers of metal markets.
• Experience developing and implementing trading strategies.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-disciplined, able to take stress.
• Ability to prioritize high-importance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Trading
• Develop paper trading strategies
• Manage the book autonomously (within risk limits); ensuring the trading positions and strategies remain within the agreed risk and credit parameters, and identifying potential factors that may cause these parameters to be breached
• Generate positive P/L, and have a consistent proven track record of trade objective achievements
• Liaise with head office to identify trading opportunities, monitor current market conditions, and inform them of new opportunities
• Daily preparation of trading P&L and risk reporting for trading desk, dealdesk and senior management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Precious Metals trading
• A full and detailed understanding of the fundamental drivers of metal markets
• Experienced in developing and implementing of trading strategies
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-disciplined, able to take stress
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, especially those of high importance
