Responsibilities

• Execute physical bullion trades across spot, forwards, and swaps.
• Provide two-way pricing to institutional clients, industrial users, refiners, and wholesalers.
• Hedge exposures using OTC forwards/swaps, futures and other exchanges.
• Manage allocated/unallocated positions across global vaults.
• Risk-manage loco SGD clearing market making unallocated positions.
• Risk-manages client loco SGD clearing market balances.
• Assist senior trader in precious metal risk taking and risk management.
• Coordinate bar shipments, customs clearance, insurance, and transport.
• Oversee vault inventory, bar lists, serial tracking, and chain-of-custody.
• Maintain Good Delivery compliance and reconciliation processes.

What you do

A. Trading & Market-Making Gold Bullion

• Execute physical bullion trades across spot, forwards, and swaps.
• Provide two-way pricing to institutional clients, industrial users, refiners, and wholesale distributors.
• Hedge exposures using OTC forwards/swaps, CME/COMEX futures and other authorized exchanges
• Manage allocated/unallocated positions across global vaults.
• Risk manages loco SGD clearing market making unallocated positions across fellow SGD clearer.
• Risk manages client loco SGD clearing market balances
• Assist senior trader in precious metal risk taking and risk management

B. Physical Operations & Logistics Coordination

• Work with refiners (eg Metalor, PAMP, Argor-Heraeus, Heraeus).
• Coordinate bar shipments, customs clearance, insurance, and transport.
• Oversee vault inventory, bar lists, serial tracking, and chain-of-custody.
• Maintain Good Delivery compliance and reconciliation processes

Who you are

- At least 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, including asset classes, instruments, and investment strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
