Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner focused on designing, building and delivering innovative products. We seek a Principal Power Technology Researcher in Singapore to advance high‑power technologies for future data centers and mission‑critical applications.

You will lead fundamental research, prototype power system concepts, and collaborate with Advanced Technology teams, shaping technologies four to six years from now. This role anchors Flex's R&D efforts in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with focus on power systems.
• 5 years of experience for Master's or 3 years for PhD in power research or design.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental research into future high‑power technologies.
• Prototype power system concepts and perform design simulations.
• Contribute to patent applications and whitepapers.
• Collaborate with Advanced Technology teams across groups.
• Support handoff between Singapore Research Centre and Flex teams.
