Job summary

Flex Singapore is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to lead power electronics design from concept through production, focusing on high‑power PSU development and mass‑production readiness. You will drive topology decisions, advise on component selection, ensure EMC and safety compliance, and collaborate across design, test, and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable power solutions.

Bachelor's degree (or above) in power electronics or electrical engineering with 10+ years of hands‑on design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years design experience in power supply development.
• Experience taking prototypes to mass production with high reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of high‑power power supplies from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet specifications, cost targets, and schedules.
• Make topology and component decisions, including topology selection and layout considerations.
• Provide technology leadership and solve engineering challenges across development phases.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Staff Electrical Engineer located in Kallang, Singapore. This includes maintaining quality engineering programs, standards, and improvements within the organization.

What a typical day looks like

• Responsible for project on design and development from concept stage till production within the defined requirements
• Work across functional teams to ensure product meet product specification, cost target, schedule, etc.
• Design concept decision maker, including topology architecture, component selection, PCB layout, EMC, Safety, Reliability etc.
• Provides technology leadership and makes decision on how to solve technical related problems so encountered throughout the development phases

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Bachelor (or above) in power electronics or electrical, automation.
• 10 years design experience in power supply design (Telecom, Server, OBC ...), independent project design experience.
• Experience of mi-high power products' development from prototype to mass production.
• Strong Power electronics / power supply design knowledge, well understanding about popular topology such as Boost, Totem-pole, LLC ,flyback, forward, PSFB, etc.
• Familiar with AC/DC PSU EMC and Safety regulation, familiar with engineering tools such as MatchCAD, SIMetrix, PSIM, PADs, Self-motivated, passionate work, good team work
