Job summary

Flex is a leading diversified manufacturer and design partner. We seek a Principal Power Technology Researcher in Kallang, Singapore to drive fundamental research for future high‑power products and to help Flex Advanced Technology teams develop new platforms.

You will conduct research and prototyping of power system technologies, perform design simulations, and prepare patent applications and whitepapers while collaborating with multiple groups to advance concepts to working platforms.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Electrical Engineering or power electronics with relevant research or design experience.
• PhD degree is a plus and may reduce years of practical experience required.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics and power supply design.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundamental research into technologies for future high‑power products.
• Prototype power system concepts and perform design simulations.
• Prepare patent applications, whitepapers and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with Flex Advanced Technology teams and other groups.
