POWER SYSTEMS R&D (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Principal Power Technology Researcher to lead fundamental research into future high‑power products.

You will prototype advanced power system technologies, study feasible concepts, and prepare whitepapers and patent materials. Collaborate across Advanced Technology teams, translate research into practical designs, and guide tech direction for 4–6 year product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering; PhD a plus.
• 3 years’ experience (PhD) or 5 years (Master) in power system research/design.
• Solid State Transformer and high power-density AC-DC systems experience.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics topologies (e.g., PFC, DAB, LLC).
• Experience leading独立项目设计并具备团队协作能力。
• Fluent Chinese communication with Chinese-speaking clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundamental research on technologies for future high‑power products.
• Prototype leading-edge power system technologies and design simulations.
• Prepare patent applications, whitepapers and scholarly articles.
• Collaborate with Advanced Technology teams and other groups.
• Provide technology leadership and problem-solving during research phases.
