Job summary

3P POWER PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, validate, commission and maintain electrical equipment including AC UPS, DC UPS, Batteries, Switchgear and BMS at customer sites across the Asia Pacific region.

You will perform fault analysis, provide on-site technical support, deliver customer training, create service documentation and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, effective actions and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering (E&E, Electrical, Power).
• Minimum 5 years of power industry experience with knowledge of power electronics equipment (AC & DC UPS, Batteries, Chargers, Switchgear, BMS).
• Proficient in PC skills; knowledge in MS Office and programming is an advantage.
• Flexible to travel across Asia Pacific region.

Responsibilities

• Site installation, validation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical equipment (AC UPS, DC UPS, Batteries, Switchgear, BMS).
• Fault analysis and troubleshooting.
• Provide on-site technical support to customers.
• On-site training to customers.
• Interface with cross-functional teams (field applications, services, product management, manufacturing, sales).
• Develop service documentation.
• Create and maintain service information in the enterprise database.
• Timely handling of field service calls; triage with field applications scientists.
• Submit all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and implement corrective actions.
