Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a results-driven Sales Lead for power protection solutions.

You will lead a sales team, drive market development, and shape strategies to win projects. You will manage the end-to-end sales process, build a strong pipeline, present technically to customers, and coordinate tenders and forecasts. Travel as required; a mechanical or electrical engineering background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge and direct sales experience in power protection technologies and the construction business (e.g., DRUPS, UPS, diesel generators, modular power infrastructure solutions) is advantageous.
• The ideal candidate is process-oriented and customer-focused, with a drive to improve sales and profitability.
• Highly organized with excellent direct sales, project, and task management skills.
• Proven sales leader with at least 3 years of experience managing a team.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the assigned sales team to achieve sales and business development targets.
• Spearhead market development for the full range of power protection and power quality engineering solutions within the assigned segments.
• Develop appropriate sales strategies and oversee all phases of the sales process to ensure effective and timely customer service and response.
• Build and maintain a quality sales pipeline, executing multi-level sales strategies to successfully win projects.
• Take ownership of establishing, maintaining, and expanding commercial relationships with customers and key accounts through regular engagement and touchpoints.
• Ensure tender submissions and costings are comprehensive and accurate.
• Lead and participate in tender clarifications.
• Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts.
• Diligently utilize and update project details in the company CRM (Salesforce) platform.
• Conduct technical presentations and training sessions for targeted customers.
• Assist the Division Director with any other tasks as required.
