Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an Assistant Operations Executive (Port Operations) in Singapore to support vessel operations planning, resource allocation, and quay activities. The role requires a diploma, Singaporean or PR status, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.

Strong coordination and planning skills, plus experience in logistics or maritime operations, are advantageous. The position offers AWS, variable bonus, performance incentives, and shift allowances.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification from a recognized local institution.
• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
• Able to work rotating 12-hour day/night shifts.
• Strong coordination and planning with good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in logistics, port, or maritime operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Vessel Operations & Resource Planning: learn and apply vessel operations planning and resource allocation principles and coordinate manpower and equipment deployment.
• Quayside Operations Supervision: monitor container loading/unloading at the quay and ensure safe, smooth port operations.
• Container Yard Management: coordinate container movements and yard activities using Terminal Operations Systems (TOS) and monitor yard utilization.
• Operations Coordination: work with operational teams to ensure vessels are serviced on schedule and respond to changing priorities.
