Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking motivated individuals to join the port operations team at Habour Drive. You will receive structured training in vessel operations, quayside supervision and container yard management to support the safe and efficient movement of containers.

Key responsibilities include learning vessel operations, planning activities, supervising quay and yard operations, and coordinating movements using the Terminal Operations System (TOS).

Qualifications

• Diploma holder from local polytechnic (SP/NP/TP/NYP or RP) or ITE Work-Study Diploma.
• Willing to undergo structured training.
• Able to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of vessel operations and resource planning.
• Plan vessel activities and allocate manpower and equipment.
• Supervise quayside activities to ensure safe and smooth operations.
• Coordinate container movements and yard operations using the Terminal Operations System (TOS).
• Monitor operational activities to support productivity and timely vessel departures.
• Coordinate activities between vessel operations, quay crane operations and container yard management.

Salary: Up to $3,500/month + AWS, variable bonus, operational incentives and shift allowances
Working Hours: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:30 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM)
Shift Pattern: 3 working days followed by 2 rest days
Location: Habour Drive

Job Requirements

• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
• Diploma holder from a local polytechnic (SP, NP, TP, NYP or RP) or ITE Work-Study Diploma.
• Willing to undergo structured training and probation.
• Able to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment.
