Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking meticulous and analytical individuals to join its port operations planning team. This role focuses on vessel stowage and container yard planning, coordinating container flow between vessels and the yard to support efficient port operations.

You will support vessel stowage planning, coordinate yard planning, and use the Terminal Operations System (TOS) to assist planning activities, with rotating 12-hour shifts and a 3-on/2-off pattern.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder from a local polytechnic (SP, NP, TP, NYP or RP) or ITE Work-Study Diploma is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Meticulous with good planning and decision-making abilities.
• Willing to undergo structured training and probation.
• Able to coordinate multiple operational requirements and work within tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Support vessel stowage planning, including the planning and positioning of containers on vessels.
• Coordinate container yard planning to ensure efficient container flow and yard utilisation.
• Use the Terminal Operations System (TOS) to support vessel and yard planning activities.

• Review operational information carefully to support accurate and effective planning.

Salary: Up to $3,500/month + AWS, variable bonus, operational incentives and shift allowances
Working Hours: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:30 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM)
Shift Pattern: 3 working days followed by 2 rest days
