Job summary

National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) in Singapore seeks a Policy Analyst to help formulate, analyse, and influence government labour policies aligning with 4Ps and 3Ws, affecting workers' livelihoods.

You will monitor labour market developments, gather ground feedback from unions and non-union sectors, prepare reports from third-party data, and collaborate with government agencies to tailor schemes that improve wages, welfare, and work prospects.

Qualifications

• University degree in Political Science, Economics, Law or related field.
• Self-starter with keen interest to conduct policy and data analysis.
• Experience in economic analysis would be a plus.
• Good analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to engage multiple stakeholders with good interpersonal skills.
• Good team player.
• At least 2 years of working experience.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, analyse, and influence government policymaking with impact on workers’ livelihoods.
• Monitor economic outlook and labour market developments; gather ground feedback from unionised and non-unionised sectors.
• Prepare reports and analyse 3rd party data for internal stakeholders.
