Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills foundational to policy formulation.
• Comfortable with looking at issues through a strategic and operational lens.
• Highly motivated and able to effectively work in a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• People-centric and able to build consensus with multiple stakeholders.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in data science, business analytics, economics, statistics, or related fields is preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (R, Python) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop medium to long-term strategic plans to enhance support for persons with disabilities.
• Data analysis, analytics and research.
• Engage other programme owners to understand their use case and analysis requirements.
• Perform data acquisition, processing and analysis to generate insights.
• Develop assessment and recommendations and present findings to management.
• Work on research projects to advance thinking of relevant social policies.
• Support projects to enhance accessibility and build an inclusive society.
• Profile Singapore’s efforts through international relations.
• Work closely with other agencies and stakeholders to oversee implementation.
