Job summary

MINISTRY OF LAW in Singapore is seeking a Data Analyst to build its data analytics capability. You will turn operational, programme and policy questions into clear insights, develop dashboards, support programme evaluation and help teams use data effectively.

The six focus areas include data quality, dashboards, evaluation, unstructured data analysis, AI-enabled analytics and stakeholder capability building. This is an 11‑month contract in a fast‑paced, justice‑moc environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis, BI, programme evaluation or operations analytics.
• Proficiency in Excel and Tableau or equivalent.
• Experience with SQL, Python or R, and familiarity with text analytics, NLP or generative AI would be an advantage.
• Experience with public‑sector operations or case‑management data is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Turn operational, programme and policy questions into clear insights.
• Develop dashboards and analytical products.
• Support programme evaluation and MOF reporting.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data for patterns and trends.
• Apply text analytics or AI-assisted methods to surface insights.
• Develop small-scale AI-enabled analytics proofs of concepts with governance.
• Engage stakeholders and build capability in analytics within MED teams.
