Job summary

We are seeking a senior architect to own the end-to-end architecture for our platform, ensuring alignment with the Enterprise Architecture of the Agency. You will translate business requirements into architectural specifications, govern modules and services, and define reference architectures for OutSystems and AI-driven components.

You will lead with strong technical judgment, implement security and observability practices, and coordinate with DevSecOps and AI engineers to embed AI into case

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• At least 7 years of relevant work experience, including 3 years as a technical lead or system architect.
• Hands-on experience in at least 3 full project development life cycles.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise apps on OutSystems with reusable modules and performance tuning.
• Excellent data modelling and SQL skills.
• Solid understanding of SOA, web services, APIs and web/e-services development; experience in server-side Java and/or .NET is a plus.
• Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset with customer focus.
• Familiarity with GovTech tech stack and IM8 security policies is advantageous.
• Experience with AI or generative AI services (e.g., Amazon Bedrock) and agentic AI solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture for the platform and ensure design and development align with the Enterprise Architecture.
• Translate business requirements into architectural specifications for the application platform.
• Review quality of common services and modules and advise on enhancements.
• Design architecture blueprint for business, information and ICT assets using multiple models.
• Govern and enhance architecture blueprint to keep business and ICT aligned.
• Define reference architecture for OutSystems and reusable components for the case management platform.
• Govern integration with the enterprise AI Foundation Platform and AI modules to embed AI into workflows.
• Define non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, resiliency, security) and verify through tests and capacity planning.
• Define observability architecture for applications and AI agents, including logging, metrics and SLIs/SLOs.
• Define reference architecture for agentic AI, tool integration, identity, human-in-the-loop controls.
