Job summary

Abnormal Security is looking for a Software Engineer II to join the AI GTM Platform team. You will design and ship internal products, APIs, and services that empower forward-deployed teams to prototype, validate, and scale customer solutions with speed.

You will own the full product lifecycle across multiple stages, work with AI coding assistants, and build secure, scalable systems handling billions of events for Fortune 500 enterprises.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development.
• Backend development with Python, TypeScript, or Go.
• Solid fundamentals in at least one modern frontend framework.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants as part of daily workflow.
• Experience or strong interest in scalable, enterprise-grade apps.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong CS fundamentals, data structures, and performance optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Build the platform that powers the field by shipping internal products, APIs, and services.
• Own the full product lifecycle from 0→1, 1→10, and 10→100.
• Work across prototype to GA stages with multiple products in parallel.
• Leverage AI-assisted development to boost productivity and workflows.
• Build secure, scalable systems for billions of events in enterprise environments.
• Collaborate closely with customers and field teams to solve real problems.
