Job summary

Abnormal AI in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer I to design and maintain high-volume ingestion and low-latency services on the Federated Intelligence Platform. You will work with AI-native tools, collaborate across teams, and contribute to reliable, scalable, security-critical systems in a distributed environment.

You’ll implement features end-to-end, improve existing services, and participate in on-call readiness while learning and growing within a fast-paced security-focused company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS or related field is preferred (not stated).
• Proven software engineering fundamentals and clean, testable code.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Implement and ship features end-to-end from design to rollout.
• Own small tasks and components with testing and validation.
• Improve system reliability and performance and refactor for maintainability.
• Assist with debugging, runbooks, and incident learning before on-call.
• Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders to understand upstream/downstream impacts.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools while maintaining engineering quality.
