Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Platform Operations Engineer in Singapore to support on-prem and hybrid infrastructure that underpins mission-critical systems. You will focus on reliability, stability, and modernization while collaborating with internal teams and vendors to resolve incidents and plan upgrades.

The role involves governance tasks, change reviews, SR approvals, and coordinating multi-year technology refresh initiatives toward cloud and hybrid progress, with an emphasis on minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in infrastructure or platform operations.
• Experience in production or mission-critical environments.
• Experience with governance, change review, or SR approvals.
• Government/public sector experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational support and maintenance across on-prem and hybrid platforms.
• Provide technical oversight for compute, storage, virtualization, OS, backup, DR, HA.
• Lead incident management with root cause analysis and recovery planning.
• Coordinate vendor activities to ensure timely task delivery.
• Review changes, SRs, and recovery plans for security and architectural fit.
• Support governance activities and operational readiness checks.
• Plan refreshes, upgrades, migrations, and tech projects.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain runbooks and governance artefacts.
