Job summary

Capgemini Singapore Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Platform Operations Engineer to support on-premises and hybrid infrastructure, ensuring reliability and operational stability for critical systems.

You will lead incident management, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and contribute to governance, security reviews, and technology refresh programmes to drive cloud and hybrid adoption. The role requires strong cross-functional communication and experience across virtualization,

Qualifications

Experience in infrastructure or platform operations in production environments.
Strong understanding of virtualization, OS, storage, backup, DR/HA.
Experience coordinating external support teams and vendor relationships.
Experience with governance, security reviews, and change management.
Experience in government, public sector, or regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of critical infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments.
Provide oversight across compute, storage, virtualization, OS, backup, DR, HA.
Lead incident management including RCA and recovery planning.
Coordinate vendor activities and service requests within timelines.
Collaborate with application, network, security teams and maintain runbooks and governance artefacts.
Support infrastructure modernization and technology refresh programmes.
