Job summary

Neptunez Singapore PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage storage, backup, and virtualization environments. You will monitor system health, perform backup and disaster recovery tasks, and ensure high availability across platforms.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting across Windows/Linux servers, handling migrations and upgrades, and maintaining thorough documentation and security controls in line with policy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or platform operations.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise storage and backup environments.
• Experience with Virtual Tape Libraries (VTL), disk storage, and storage targets.
• Experience in backup, restoration, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience with server virtualization and clustering technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across storage, backup, servers, operating systems, and infrastructure.
• Experience with storage capacity and performance monitoring.
• Experience in LAN/WAN and Active Directory environments.
• Experience supporting infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and maintenance.
• Experience in data protection, encryption, access controls, and security compliance.
• Strong documentation, incident management, and vendor coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise infrastructure covering storage, backup, and virtualization environments.
• Monitor storage utilization, backup operations, system health, and infrastructure performance.
• Perform backup, restoration, and data recovery activities and support disaster recovery operations.
• Troubleshoot issues across storage, backup, servers, Windows/Linux, and virtualized environments.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers supporting enterprise infrastructure operations.
• Support virtualization, clustering, infrastructure upgrades, and migration activities.
• Perform system maintenance, patching, configuration, and performance optimization.
• Support high-availability and disaster recovery environments.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, incident records, recovery procedures, and RCA documentation.
• Follow infrastructure security, access control, encryption, and data protection requirements.
