Job summary
QUESS SINGAPORE is seeking a storage and backup administrator to manage enterprise storage and backup infrastructure. You will handle provisioning, monitoring, and restore activities, ensuring data protection and disaster recovery readiness, while collaborating on upgrades and operational support with infra teams.
The role requires 3–7 years of hands-on experience with Dell EMC storage, Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, Cisco SAN switches, Linux, and scripting.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–7 years of storage and backup administration experience.
- Hands-on with Dell EMC PowerMax/PowerStore/Data Domain.
- Experience with Veritas NetBackup and Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Hands-on with Cisco SAN switches, Linux, scripting, and automation.
- ITIL knowledge and disaster recovery readiness are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support enterprise storage and backup infrastructure.
- Manage backup and recovery operations using NetBackup and Veeam.
- Perform storage provisioning, backup monitoring, troubleshooting, and restores.
- Support SAN environment, storage performance, and capacity management.
- Ensure backup success, data protection, and DR readiness.
- Collaborate on upgrades, migrations, and operational support with infra teams.
- Maintain operational documentation and SOPs.
- Participate in 24x7 operational support when required.
