Job summary

The Polyolefin Company (Singapore) PTE. LTD. invites a Production Supervisor/Engineer to join the production team, overseeing safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will lead technicians and contractors, perform SAP transactions, monitor performance, and drive automation and digitalisation while maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical.
• Experience with production planning, inventory management, and process operations.
• Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems; strong safety and quality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production support activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Manage production planning, raw material, packaging, and inventory to support uninterrupted manufacturing.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to meet operational and business requirements.
• Monitor production performance, resource consumption, inventory levels, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead and supervise technicians and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures (May involve shift work).
• Perform SAP transactions, maintain accurate operational records, and prepare production and inventory reports.
• Drive troubleshooting, continuous improvement, automation, and digitalisation initiatives to improve plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO Management Systems, Safety Management System, environmental regulations, and statutory requirements.
