Job summary

JointHire Singapore Pte Ltd is sourcing for a chemical plant operator to join our client on Jurong Island. The role involves hands-on field and panel tasks, plant troubleshooting, and routine sampling across a 12-hour shift schedule.

Candidates with N levels or NTC 2 / Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, plus certifications like Boiler Attendance or Steam Engineer, are preferred. 7 days in a 14-day cycle with site allowances applies.

Qualifications

• N level or NTC 2 / Diploma in Chemical Process Technology.
• 2–3 years' experience in chemical industry; no experience are welcome to apply.
• 2nd Grade Steam Engineer or Diploma with Boiler Attendance Certificate is an advantage.
• Experience with forklift, firefighting, confined space, or work at heights certificates is an advantage.
• Able to perform field and panel works.
• High awareness of job safety and housekeeping.

Job Description

• Handle daily operational tasks and participate in plant troubleshooting

• Prepare process equipment for mechanical work according to SOP procedures
• Carry out loading/unloading and raw material charging activities
• Operates utility and process plant

Job Requirements

Compensation

• Working location: Jurong Island
• Working hours (12-hour Shift work): from 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am
• Working days (Including weekends): 7 working days within a 14-day cycle
• Fixed allowances: $370 (site and transport)
• Shift allowance: $650
