Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is recruiting a Process Technician for our Jurong facility. The role involves operating and supporting various stages of manufacturing and chemical processing, following safety procedures and company work instructions.

You will handle materials (up to 20 kg), perform batch processing in a semi-manual environment, and assist supervisors in resolving production and quality issues. This position offers 12-hour rotating shifts and transport allowances.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical process, or plant environments.
• Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Forklift operation certification or experience.
• Candidates without prior experience, training will be provided.

Work Schedule

• Conduct material handling activities using industrial equipment where applicable.
• Support supervisors in identifying and resolving production, process, and quality-related issues.
• Perform batch processing activities in a partially manual work environment.
• Handle and move materials as required, including items weighing up to approximately 20kg.
• Participate in workplace safety and emergency preparedness programmes and take appropriate action during emergency situations.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing, Chemical process, or plant environment
• Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
• Forklift operating experience or certification
• Candidates without prior experience,training will be provided.
