Job summary

Evonik Methionine SEA Pte. Ltd. is seeking a production operator to work in a fast-paced chemical processing environment on Jurong Island. You will operate equipment, monitor systems, and assist with loading, unloading, and solution preparation as part of a multi-shift team.

The role requires a Diploma in Chemical Process Engineering or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, plus strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with maintenance and emergency response teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Process Engineering or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology as a minimum requirement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment in production systems, prepares solutions, monitors instruments, and assists with loading/unloading operations.
• Carries out cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs in production systems.
• Participates and responds to the emergency response team.
• Assists maintenance team in plant repair.

• Carries out cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair work in the production systems.

Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Process Engineering or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology
• Operating experience in Chemical / Petrochemical industry is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to work in Jurong Island and perform 12 hours rotating shift
