Job summary

GREEN RECYCLING PTE. LTD. invites applications for a Plant Operations role focused on the co-generation plant and its auxiliary systems. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate fuel intake, and ensure compliance with MOM, NEA, SFA, and other relevant bodies.

The role requires a Diploma in engineering or related field, familiarity with boiler/turbine systems, and willingness to work 12-hour shifts. Prior boiler attendant registration is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or related field required.
• Knowledge of waste management industry advantageous.
• Familiarity with boiler and turbine systems, steam generation, and related mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to commit to 12-hour shifts.
• CLASS 1 or 2 Boiler Attendant registration under MOM is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation and maintenance of the co-generation plant and its ancillary systems.
• Coordinate fuel arrival (biomass, sludge) with logistics teams.
• Liaise with MOM and NEA for boiler inspections and reports.
• Train technicians and operators using procedures and checklists.
• Improve plant efficiency and synergies through engineering works.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, contractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations on emissions and safety.
• Oversee ISO tank heating and ensure timely releases per customer requests.
• Maintain plant safety, housekeeping, and adherence to Abbott steam usage guidelines.
