Job summary

MHIEC ECO CREATION SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Technician for day and night shift cycles at the Tuas South Ave 3 Waste To Energy Plant. The role emphasizes safe, reliable operation and daily support to the operation team.

The candidate should hold a Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial with 1–2 years of incineration plant experience, and be prepared to participate in SOP and safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial.
• NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial with 1-2 years incineration plant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is incorporated into all activities and site safety policies and standards.
• Assist Shift Lead in fulfilling responsibilities and monitor operational activities.
• Respond and support 24/7 plant operation and emergencies.
• Ensure plant operations follow SOPs and manuals; develop SOPs, RA, job aids, and checklists.
• Identify safety improvements and assist maintenance and plant improvements.

Job description

Work Location: Tuas South Ave 3 Waste To Energy Plant 2 days of Day Shift with 2 days off followed by 2 days of Night Shift in cycle.

To ensure continuous plant's availability as well as be accountable for safe, smooth,reliable and efficient operation of plant's equipment.

To support plantgoals, objective and KPI's.

To assist operation team in their daily activity as a Technician.

1. Plant Operation

• Ensure safety is incorporated into all activities and site safety policies and standards arefollowed by internal and external members.
• To assist Shift Lead in fulfilling his/her responsibilities.
• Monitor and keep track of operational activities being carried out.
• Respond and support to call back duties to ensure smooth 24/7 plant operation and/or plant emergencies.
• Ensure plant operations are performed as per SOP, manuals etc.
• Support activities include but not limited to operations, frontline troubleshooting, plant start-up & shutdown and any other ad-hoc request.
• Execute routine equipment changeover program, maintenance activities and equipment overhaul.
• Develop and review SOP's, RA, Job Aids, and Checklists timely.
• Monitor and escalation operational consumables needs.
• Enforce safety procedures in all activities.
• Ensure all EHS issues and concerns are resolved and adhered timely.
• Involve in regular EHS site inspections and audits.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies in regards to plant activities.
• Enforce all ISO, QEHS and relevant standards are adhered.

2. Plant Optimization

• Identify safety improvement and implement energy & water saving initiatives.
• Assist maintenance team during maintenance.
• Monitor and keep track of utilities consumptionsand generate reports as and when required
• Involve in Facilitateproject works as well as plant improvement activities.
• Suggest and execute plant improvements initiatives.

3. Training & OJT

• Train new hires on safe and reliable plant operations.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical /Industrial
• NITEC, Higher NITEC in Mechanical /Electrical /Industrial with 1-2 Years Incineration Plant Experience.
