Job summary

KINGSFORCE MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Production Planner to schedule shop floor orders and coordinate production activities, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal use of resources. You will work with Buyers, QA/QC, Engineering, and Sales Admin to align BOM releases, MCR/EDW dispositions, and supplier lead times.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in engineering or related field, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or related field.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule shop floor orders and coordinate production activities.
• Coordinate with buyers on PRF requests and vendor delivery schedules.
• Work with QA/QC on QCP/ITP requirements and NCR requests.
• Coordinate with Engineering on BOM/DWG releases, MCR and EDW dispositions.
• Coordinate with Sales Administration / Inside Sales on picklists for completed parts and CSP.
• Update the PCL production demand file and provide weekly updates.
• Ensure "Ended" SFOs are closed on time and review overdue SFOs.
• Attend customer meetings to provide order updates and address requirements.
• Monitor utilisation and reduce unpegged inventory by assigning sales orders to planners.
• Work with the Quotation Team to estimate manufacturing lead times.
• Identify and develop strategic stock programmes for long lead-time items.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
