Job summary

You will lead a planning team, ensure material availability, and partner with cross-functional groups to deliver on-time customer commitments. The ideal candidate is decisive, assertive, and comfortable driving urgency, while challenging status quos and continuously improving planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 7+ years of planning experience in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience with a results-oriented mindset.
• Experience with high-mix, high-volume contract manufacturing would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of planners with clear direction and performance management.
• Review demand, forecasts and backlog to set priorities and optimize output and lead times.
• Develop realistic production plans aligned with demand, capacity, and materials.
• Ensure timely material availability to support schedules and customer needs.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Suppliers and Warehouse to manage lead times and risks.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics and Customer Ops to align priorities and execution.
