Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. is seeking a Production Planning professional in Singapore to manage daily planning, monitor schedules and coordinate across Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement and Customer Service. You will address material shortages, update BOMs and reconcile MRP data to keep production on track.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, process improvements and proactive communication to meet customer delivery commitments in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain or production planning; semiconductor or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proactive, responsible and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
• Comfortable working independently while knowing when to seek guidance and elevate issues.
• Show interest in process improvement, contributing to the enhancement of planning processes.
• Knowledge of Oracle, Power BI and VBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily production planning and monitor production status against schedules.
• Review material shortages and work with Buyers to expedite materials and minimize production disruptions.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement and Customer Service to ensure smooth execution of production plans.
• Identify and resolve issues related to material availability, capacity and customer delivery commitments.
• Review MRP data and reconcile supply and demand to maintain accurate production schedules.
• Support the review of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and assess material and production impacts.
• Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and adjust production schedules where required.
• Prepare production reports and highlight key issues, risks and bottlenecks.
• Use data analysis to support planning decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning effectiveness, inventory, production flow and customer delivery.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
