Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to own demand planning across Singapore, Vietnam, and the Philippines, coordinating with sales and buyers. The role focuses on Kanban/VMI execution and maintaining healthy inventory levels while aligning with regional supply chain strategies.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in material planning in manufacturing, strong interpersonal skills, and familiarity with JDE or similar ERP systems to support cross-country planning and customer

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business or Supply Chain or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in Material Planning in an MNC or manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Kanban replenishment / pull system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own demand planning by aggregating demand from internal sales entities across ASEAN.
• Forecasting/planning with major customers under VMI contracts.
• Execute Kanban/VMI programs including contract review, communication, planning and execution.
• Maintain healthy DSI and inventory levels, monthly reviews with sales/buyers.
• Collaborate with ASEAN planners for monthly inventory forecasting and SVP reporting.
• Visit customers to understand operations and demand drivers for inventory planning.

Responsibilities

Demand Planning

• Own demand planning process by collecting demand from internal customers, ie Sales companies namely Singapore, Vietnam and Philippines, via JDE shortage and reorder report.
• Forecasting/Planning management with major customers with VMI contracts.
• Physical Execution of Kanban/VMI program, which will include (contract review, communicate, plan with team & customers, organize and execution)

Inventory

• Maintaining healthy DSI and inventory over sales to be less than 10% every month.
• Working closely with CS/Buyer from the Sales companies and keep them updated of any supply situation.
• Identify area of improvement and formulate plans via S&OP, PFEP, to form a goods finished goods strategy.
• Manage weekly inventory forecasting for finance submission.
• Manage aging inventory and aggressively ensuring consistent reduction by working with Sales and other Planners for SVP.

Other Essential functions

• Work closely with Sales to design VMI, Kanban, planning for direct OEM customers.
• Taking lead in consolidation of Asean inventory reports on monthly basis. (SVP, Malaysia, Thailand & Indonesia)
• Taking lead. Collaborating with other Asean countries planners and manage the monthly inventory forecast/reporting for Asean SCM Manager.
• Visit customers to understand the operations and demand for inventory planning.
• Explore new boundaries focusing on service capabilities & customer satisfaction.
• Understanding and following all division policies & procedure relating to job responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in Material Planning, preferably in MNC or manufacturing environment.
• Previous hands-on experience in Kanban replenishment / pull system is preferred.
• People oriented personality and be able to work in a team effectively with good interpersonal communication skill.
