Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack medications based on labels, instructions, and SOPs.
• Prepare medicines for dispensing, including pre-packing activities.
• Replenish shelves and bins by transferring stock from storeroom.
• Receive deliveries and assist with checking, sorting, and arranging items.
• Perform routine stocktaking and inventory duties.
• Assist with deblistering and tablet portioning per established processes.
• Keep packing and storage areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and operational procedures when handling meds and supplies.
• Assist with other operational or store-related duties as assigned.

Support the Day-to-Day Operations of a Pharmacy Team

Looking for a practical role in a healthcare setting without direct patient interaction? Join a pharmacy operations team where you will support the smooth flow of medications and supplies through stock handling, packing, replenishment, and storekeeping activities.

This is a non-patient-facing position suited to someone who is organised, hands-on, and comfortable following established procedures in a structured environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Pick and pack medications based on labels, instructions, and prescribed operating procedures.
• Prepare medicines for dispensing, including placing items into ziplock bags and carrying out pre-packing activities.
• Replenish medication shelves and bins by transferring stock from the storeroom when required.
• Receive deliveries from suppliers and assist with checking, sorting, and arranging incoming items.
• Perform routine stocktaking and inventory-related duties to ensure supplies are properly stored and accounted for.
• Assist with deblistering and tablet portioning using the appropriate equipment and established processes.
• Keep medication, packing, and storage areas neat, clean, and properly organised.
• Follow all relevant workplace, safety, hygiene, and operational procedures when handling medications and supplies.
• Assist the pharmacy team with other operational or store-related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable working in a pharmacy or healthcare environment in a non-patient-facing role.
• Careful and attentive when handling medications, labels, quantities, and inventory.
• Able to follow standard operating procedures consistently and accurately.
• Comfortable performing routine packing, sorting, replenishment, and stock-handling tasks.
• Able to work at a workstation or remain standing for extended periods depending on operational requirements.
• Physically comfortable handling cartons and inventory bins weighing up to 10kg , with trolley assistance available where required.
• Willing to undergo required vaccinations and serology screening, where applicable.
• Available to work rotating shifts based on operational requirements.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work effectively within a structured team environment.
