Job summary

WSP Asia is seeking a Permitting Officer in Singapore to manage regulatory submissions and approvals for projects. You will coordinate with authorities such as BCA, URA, LTA, PUB, NEA and SCDF to ensure timely permits.

You will work with consulting engineers, architects, and project teams to align drawings and documentation with Singapore codes, maintain records, and support audits and inquiries.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Building, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of permitting/submission experience within Singapore’s built environment sector.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore regulatory processes and authorities (BCA, URA, CORENET, etc.).
• Familiarity with e-submission systems such as CORENET / CORENET X.
• Good coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and follow up on permit applications via relevant platforms.
• Liaise with government authorities to secure necessary approvals.
• Coordinate with consultants to meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor submission timelines and approval statuses to meet milestones.
• Review project documentation for compliance with Singapore codes and regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of submissions and approvals.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on regulatory processes and permit requirements.
• Track regulatory changes and ensure project compliance with updated legislation.
• Support audits, inspections, and authority queries related to permitting.
