Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD seeks an engineering professional to lead statutory approvals and permitting for manufacturing sites in Singapore. You will coordinate with NEA, PUB, SCDF, and BCA to secure timely submissions and ensure compliance with building and fire safety standards.

As the primary interface among the company, design teams and Qualified Persons, you will drive permitting meetings, identify non-compliances, and ensure project milestones are met with precise

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering with relevant experience in the construction/manufacturing plant projects.
• Experience in securing statutory approvals from NEA, PUB, SCDF and BCA.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with internal teams and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage statutory submission and permitting workflow with BCA (ST Submission, Permit to Commence works, As-built, TOP, CSC).
• Appointed as the contact person between company, design team and Qualified Person(s) for permitting-related activities.
• Responsible for leading permitting weekly meetings and maintaining project milestone adherence.
• Identify non-compliances and propose mitigation measures to ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.

Job description

• The role focuses on securing statutory approvals from agencies like the NEA, PUB, and SCDF to ensure the compliant, safe, and continuous operation of manufacturing sites
• Lead and manage statutory submission and permitting workflow with BCA (ST Submission, Permit to Commence works, As-built, TOP, CSC)
• Appointed as the contact person between with company, design team and Qualified Person(s) for permitting-related activities.
• Responsible for leading permitting weekly meetings
• Act as an advisory role to the teams to ensure that design and plant operation meet local building codes compliances and relevant fire safety standard.
• Identify non-compliances and propose mitigation measures where possible.
• Technical documents for QP’s submission.
• Collate project control plans and building plans based on engineering deliverables for QP’s submission.
• Responsible for obtaining permitting approvals timely to support project milestones.
