WSP CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Permitting Officer to coordinate regulatory submissions for diverse projects.

You will liaise with BCA, URA, LTA, PUB, NEA, SCDF and other authorities to secure timely approvals while ensuring compliance with Singapore codes and standards. The role requires a diploma/degree in engineering, building, architecture or related discipline and 2–5 years’ experience in permitting.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Building, Architecture, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in permitting/submission roles within Singapore’s built environment sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore regulatory processes and authorities (BCA, URA, CORENET, etc.).
  • Familiarity with e-submission systems such as CORENET / CORENET X.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on permit applications via relevant platforms (e.g., CORENET, e-Submission portals).
  • Liaise with government authorities including BCA, URA, LTA, PUB, NEA, SCDF, and other statutory boards to secure necessary approvals.
  • Coordinate with consultants to ensure submission drawings and documents meet regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor submission timelines and approval statuses to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Review project documentation for compliance with Singapore codes and regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of all submissions, approvals, and correspondences.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on regulatory processes and permit requirements.
  • Track regulatory changes and ensure project compliance with updated legislation.
  • Support audits, inspections, and authority queries related to permitting matters.
