Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Performance Test Engineer to collaborate with stakeholders and understand non-functional requirements for a banking application portfolio. The role involves creating robust load test scripts, preparing test environments, and delivering detailed performance analyses.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with LoadRunner and JMeter, understands SDLC, and has exposure to multi-application banking systems across mainframe, AS/400, and modern tech stacks.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance testing across complex banking architectures.
• Strong command of performance test methodologies and result interpretation.
• Familiarity with SDLC and QA roles in financial applications.

Responsibilities

• Understand NFRs and business flows; engage stakeholders.
• Create and optimize performance scripts using LoadRunner/JMeter/Web Load.
• Prepare test data and environment for load simulations.
• Deploy monitoring and analyze performance; present findings to stakeholders.
• Experience with multi-application banking ecosystems (10-15 apps).

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to understand NFR and business flow and internal architecture of the application under audition
• Interacting with Client POC in resolving issues/observations in the application and Identified business critical scenario’s
• Create performance test scripts using load testing tools like LoadRunner/JMeter/Web Load etc.., for the test scenarios. Define/Develop/ Finalization of script Framework
• Performance Prob Environment Preparation & Prepare test data set-up for the rounds of load simulations.
• Deploy monitoring counters [in-house] or get 3rd party APM tools access and run the test and prepare test analysis report High level immediately after execution
• Analyse and create detailed performance report and document and present to respective stakeholders

Essential Responsibilities

• Experience in performance testing tools including HP Load Runner, Jmeter
• Experience in performing performance test engineer role
• Experience of providing performance test solution for complex architecture of banking solutions involving multiple application in the range of 10-15 applications and also multiple technologies like mainframe, AS 400.
• Excellent understanding of the Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) and role of QA.
• Preferably experience in Banking Industry domain including Cards, Payments, Loans, Core Banking and other banking domain.
