Job summary

AD ASTRA CONSULTANTS PRIVATE LTD. seeks a senior performance test engineer to execute nonfunctional tests, monitor system logs, and analyze resource usage to validate application performance.

The role involves identifying bottlenecks, preparing status reports, and coordinating with developers to drive performance engineering across SDLC. Candidates should have 8+ years of experience, expertise with LoadRunner/TruClient, and strong knowledge of monitoring tools and cloud/on-prem architectures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 Years of Relevant Experience in Performance Testing and Engineering.
• Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Work Load Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management.
• Expertise in Performance Testing tools using MicroFocus LoadRunner Performance Centre and protocols 3 protocols where Web (HTTP/HTML), TruClient, and Web services are mandatory.
• Experience in monitoring tools like Geneos, Grafana, Prometheus, BMC TrueSight and Splunk.
• Hands-on experience in CCJava.
• Knowledge of agile development, on-premises and Cloud Architecture such as OCPAWS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and very good time management skills.
• Collaborating with developers to promote performance engineering during all SDLC phases.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Must have problem-solving skills, good writing and oral communication skills.
• JIRA and Confluence experience.

• Monitor application logs to determine system behaviour.
• Address all technical issues, facilitate the resolution and necessarily follow up with
• Analyse the CPU utilisation, memory usage Network usage, garbage collection, and DB parameters, and DB reports to verify the performance of the applications
• Publish results and receive appropriate sign-off. Prepare detail status reports and monitor all defects and issues
• Identifying memory leakage, connection issues and bottleneck problems in the application

Requirements

• Should have strong skills in analysing PT requirements, guide client stakeholders suggest them to derive efficient PROD-similar requirements
• MUST HAVE hands-on experience in CCJava
